Copper-amber under a bubbly coppery head with lace that climbs up the sides of my glass as if trying to escape. Head lingers blotchy and bubbly. Swirls with swathes of lace and tons of head.
Massive citrus and pine up front with just a hint of cat-pee in the back. Biscuit malt and crackers underneath.
Medium weight in the front and thins out just a smidge in the back. Gentle rind and pine finish lingers long after each quaff. Caramelized biscuit malt crunch underneath and along the sides. Cat pee in the breath – again mild and not off-putting.
Overall a solid IPA with bold flavors though a bit lacking in the complexity. I’d be more than happy to drink another though.
